I normally don’t go out of my way to write bad reviews, but I unfortunately have been pushed to do so with this dealership. I contacted this facility about their 2024 Black GMC Sierra 3500 Denali Ultimate Dually/DRW, and was put in touch with a salesman named Logan. Logan was cordial over the phone, and was very responsive in getting back to me when it came to my inquiries. As time went on this facility started requesting information regarding my trade so we could work out a preliminary deal as I live out of town, and I am gone for months at a time. But I was willing to travel to their facility next week as I would be able to be nearby to where they are. I sent this facility my trade information which included my car’s VIN number and miles. After previously doing some independent research. KBB Book Value’s came back at $15,000-$18,000 if you configure it on their website as a fair trade in value. Along with searching on Cars.com, and Carguru as well. You could find comparable models of my car nationwide with more miles, and were older than mine as well around the same values for sale. So I stated to this facility that I would like around that range as a trade in value. After this was out of the way Logan stated that the truck was at their recon facility, and he would have to go get the truck because I requested pictures of it due to some concerns I had with it. As time progressed over a few days. I never received any pictures of the truck. Followed by Logan reaching out to me confirming if I was going to come to the facility to view the truck. I first asked him “Well what are you guys able to give me for my trade in value?” He stated to me “My used car manager is willing to offer you within the range of $12,000-$13,000” This is completely outside of the range stated on KBB, and this dealership essentially tried to lowball me on the trade. After some back and forth seeing what this facility could do regarding numbers. It eventually lead to nowhere.
As of today I contacted Logan 3 different times asking for a callback on an update regarding what this facility could do on my trade because I had stated that I had to be at a certain number out the door. Plus a certain payment number. There wasn’t any response from him, and I was essentially ghosted. I was then put in contact with a gentleman named Steve who was telling me that the amount that I had requested for my trade simply isn’t possible, and tried to come up with every excuse in the book as to why they couldn’t reach the payment range I had specified to them. Plus he was very dismissive over the phone, and started bragging about things that had absolutely nothing to do with what we were discussing. Almost acting like I was some kind of nuisance. Fundamentally this facility could reach the payment range I specified seeing as it wasn’t unreasonable if they would have offered me fair market value for my trade. Plus if they also didn’t stubbornly refuse to discount their truck. This was all based off of my independent research using reputable car valuing sites, and using reputable resources to get a ball park range on what my payment should be. Mainly based off of what the current market interest rates are.
If anyone is looking to purchase a vehicle. Please go somewhere else. This facility will try everything in it’s power to not offer you fair market value for your trades, and they will refuse to discount their vehicles. Not to mention their sales staff will act very dismissive towards you, and ghost you if you show any kind of understanding on the car buying process. Whether it be knowing how much your trade is actually worth, what payments they could reach if they were actually honest, and so on.
