I went to Randy Marion to purchase a used vehicle so here is my experience….the offer on my trade in was fair and relatively smooth. When I test drove the used vehicle, I noticed that the touchscreen panel was not functioning properly – the service department checked it out while I went to lunch. I told the dealership that they would have to fix the issue before I purchased the vehicle since they had a 90 day warranty that requires the buyer to split parts and labor 50% with Randy Marion if something needs repair. The sales person said they would probably replace the touch panel – when I came back from lunch I was then told that the dealership was not going to take care of it… so I said OK see you later, let me get my keys. He went back again to the sales manager (who never once came out to speak) and then they agreed to have it repaired by a local stereo place and they would call me when I could take the vehicle over. I had to reach out several times to the dealership to get notice of the repair appointment. The stereo place did a good job and it is now fixed. I didnt really care for the experience I had at this dealership with the purchase of the used vehicle – If you buy a used car here make sure you go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and confirm everything is in working order and stand your ground if not before you buy it. I wouldnt be inclined to buy another vehicle from this dealership based on my experience.
