I called the service department at Randy Marion Chevrolet in Statesville to see how much it would cost to have a piece of dash trim on my Trailblazer installed. I had already purchased the part in case we decided to install it ourself. First time I called no one answered so I left a message. No one called back. So I called again. This time I talked to someone who said they would check and call me back. No one called back. So I called for the 3rd time. This time the guy told me that the entire dash would need to be replaced and that you couldn’t just replace that part. I told him that wasn’t right. I had already ordered the part so I know it can be replaced. He said no it all had to be replaced and said it would take 5 hours and cost over $900. This was ridiculous. No way it would take that long to replace a piece of trim. I called Parks Chevrolet in Huntersville and they said it would take an hour to replace it. I called back to Statesville and asked to speak to the service manager. Big surprise, he was “in a meeting” but would call me back. Never received a call back. Parks installed my trim yesterday in a little under an hour and did a fantastic job. I would never trust Randy Marion service department with anything! They lie to people and overcharge.
