Visited dealership 7/31 spoke with rep Gunner . Test drove a car 2023 Malibu, listed 4k below book value on CarGurus. Gunner presented a computer printout with 5k mark up of fees and said CarGurus was a 3rd party that they didn’t honor. He took a copy of my DL, didn’t gather no other information then presented a computer printout. Some of the fees were what the dealership incurred when they brought the car 2k worth of fees. Imagine a dealership marking up the price before the interest rate. No credit check, no employment information gather, no negotiation on down payment , just presented with a computer printout of the price marked up 5k increase . Now I see why the car has been on CarGurus for nearly 90 days. BEWARE OF THE UNPROFESSIONAL MARK UPS WITH THIS BUSINESS.
