Update 08/07/18: After speaking with Mike, the service manager, he understood my concerns and expressed their lack of communication also. As a nice gesture he offered to detail my Jeep Grand Cherokee when I came in for the oil leak repair. I’ve just received my vehicle back and I’m very happy with the detail. The dealership had to keep my vehicle for 4 1/2 days (over the weekend) to get the fix done because, of course, they didn’t have the part in. Which always seems to be the case. So that was still a bit frustrating, but they did offer rental if needed. Hopefully, this is the last of the oil leaks for this vehicle! We’ll see over the next few months.

I must give a great compliment to David in service. He gets 5 stars! He has always been a pleasure to work with. He respects me as a woman (let’s face it, that doesn’t always happen when it comes to cars) and he has earned my respect! He kept in contact with me about the status of the repair. Thank you David, for ALL of your help! I’m sure it’s difficult to be the middleman and keep everyone happy.

July, 2018: 2 stars. Not happy with the service department at the moment! On Monday, July 2 spoke with the service department and made an appointment to have my vehicle come in for a recall and to have the oil changed. The service person told me that the recall would take about an hour and scheduled the appointment for 8:45am. My husband brought the Jeep in at 8:30 and was then told the recall would take 3 hours. He asked for the courtesy car to take him home and was told the driver did not show up today. As my husband waited there 3 hours and then ask about how things were going he learned that another vehicle was push in front of ours even though we had an appointment. No one offered to take him back home or a loaner for the day. This is not acceptable! I’m very disappointed in this service department. No one should EVER have to wait more than an hour without being offered to be taken to home/work or offered a loaner. If we would have known this he could’ve made arrangements to have been picked up. My husband does not have all the time in the world to wait around as I can imagine not many people do. If I did not have to bring my vehicle there because of the warranty, I would move my business elsewhere as this is becoming an ongoing issue! Also, I was told that I have another oil leak. This is the third one now. They says they fix it each time, but every oil change has had issues. Typically they would fix this problem right away, but now I have to schedule to come in again. And get the run around again, I’m sure!

On top on it, I was not very happy with the buying experience either. Buying a new car is, i feel, one of life’s worst experiences. Gerry Wood was not much better. Promises made that weren’t kept, and statements made that weren’t true all just to get your business. Typical Used Car Salesman. I would not purchase another vehicle from them or recommend them.
