My first visit to Randy Marion for an Oil Change, they entered my mileage wrong in the system, actually showed it to be almost triple of what it was. Now prior to taking my CT6 to Randy Marion this time, I researched the issue that I was having on GM’s website, and the site indicated that it was a common issue with CT6’s and an easy fix… simply a Transmission Flush and Fill using a specific Transmission Fluid. The cost would be between $250-$700 depending on the dealership. Randy Marion quoted me $450 with diagnostic fee $150 going towards the service. While waiting, the Service Center person, comes and tells me it’s bad news that I will need a Torque Converter and has a handwritten quote scribbled (as he said “it’s pretty hard to understand what it says”), for parts and service it will be right over $4,000 and that a Flush & Fill would not take care of the problem. I didn’t get the work done. I paid for the diagnostic and went home without my paperwork. I called Randy Marion back to get a copy of the paperwork and what I was quoted, and was told that they did not have it inputted in the system to share, and they would try to find the handwritten page, take a picture and send to my email. I never received it. My trust in Randy Marion is gone. I feel like I was being bamboozled. I will not recommend the dealership nor take my vehicle there again. I immediately made a same day appointment with the Premier Cadillac Dealership for a second opinion, and was assured that a CT6 with just 46k miles would not need a Torque Converter. They did the work in less than 2 hours, I am extremely satisfied and they also gave me a 4Star comments on my vehicle and said that it was in immaculate condition.
