Recently purchased new tires at this service center because of a blowout on the right rear of our 24′ Suburban. We bought a new rim, 4 tires and paid for an alignment. We did this February 4, 2025 at 22,310 miles on the vehicle. My wife went in for an oil change and her first tire rotation Aril 15, 2025 at 27,758 miles. She mentioned the tires were rapidly wearing and something wasn’t right. They did the oil change and rotated the tires, and then stated that the vehicle needed an alignment and we would have to pay for it but they would help us out and give us a discount. I took the vehicle on 4/17/25 at 27,911 miles and had it aligned at another shop. Now this is the important part, the vehicle was out of alignment on all 4 wheels. Our rear tires were now halfway gone after 5,400 miles and the dealership claiming they preformed an alignment. I confronted the dealership about the fact that it is impossible to have all 4 corners out of alignment from hitting a pot hole. That is there story that we hit a pot hole and knocked our alignment out, causing rapid tire wear on our brand new Goodyear tires that have a 70k warranty. We have the receipt from the alignment they “preformed” but no printout of before and after the alignment was completed. We have asked for proof that the alignment was competed and showed them the other shops alignment and how it wasn’t possible that they actual preformed this service. They told me it wasn’t there problem and I would have to take this issue up with Goodyear because they warranty the tires. Well I have and as you suspect we are getting screwed but Goodyear is helping us some, even though they did nothing wrong. If you care about your loved one, wither its your wife, daughter, son, whoever you are thinking about having visit this service center, don’t do it. It takes a special kind of scumbag to take someone’s money and not preform a service and then all out refuse to standby their work. and help resolve the issue. I’ve included the other shops alignment and our receipt showing the mileages and dates so you can draw your own conclusion. Our vehicle has only been dealer maintained and will continue to be but at an honest dealership in the area. I highly recommend the Boone or Wilkesboro dealerships. We work with them regularly and they don’t have this places reputation. Mistakes happen we weren’t mad about the situation until they outright refused to honor their work. 5,400 miles on a 70k warrantied tire with 50% tread loss is insane. These guys are dishonest and couldn’t care any less about their reputation. You’ve been warned, I didn’t think it would happen to me either but we got ripped off by a dealership in our own town.
