I believe everyone deserves to be treated with the same level of respect, regardless of age or background. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

After taking a test drive, we began negotiating the price. I came in prepared, having done my research and knowing the fair value of the vehicle. However, once the salesman realized I was serious about negotiating, his attitude shifted.

Instead of working with me respectfully, he became dismissive and unprofessional. At one point, he even said, “You don’t deserve being in a Denali. If you’re looking in that price range, I’ll just put you in a loaded SLT.” That comment was not only offensive, but also unnecessary and uncalled for.

Just because I’m a young adult doesn’t mean I should be treated any less than someone older. I came in ready to buy and handle business like any adult, and I expected to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling disrespected and overlooked.

I hope this dealership reflects on how they speak to and treat potential customers—especially those who come in informed and ready to buy.
