Took my truck into Randy Marion Chevrolet the other day because I was having a fuel leak and there was a problem with the emissions system. I was told I could take it in early in the week for them to look at it if they had time before the appointment I was told I had set up for the Thursday. I still hadn’t heard anything by that Saturday, called and was told they wouldn’t be able to look at it until Monday. I finally was told that it was bad injectors but they they didn’t see an issue with the fuel line leaking even though when the truck is running you can clearly see it drip. I didn’t get my truck back until later that week and that was after calling multiple times to get an update and then being told I would be called right back in a few minutes and then having to call back hours later because I still hadn’t heard anything. Worst part is that I had mentioned there was a fuel leak and when I picked up the truck they said it should have fixed the issue and it didn’t. Also, I went to check the fuel filters since it was the injectors that were clogged and they were disgusting. I feel like that should have been a suggested replacement since there was an issue further downstream on the fuel system. Since then, the fuel line that was leaking I had replaced by another shop because there was a small pin hole right next to the fitting. I’m very disappointed with my service, the lack of communication of their service representatives and the quality of service that I experienced. It seems as if they just didn’t look at the whole fuel line issue. This was the first time I had ever been to Randy Marion and this will be the last time as well.
