Made an appointment online to drop off my truck at 8am. When I dropped it off the lady told me they probably wouldn’t get to it today and it would need to stay 2 days…whatever. The problem with the truck was the check engine light and gas cap light was on. I told them I bought 2 new ” aftermarket” gas caps plus used the original one that came with the truck( which i replaced after I bought the truck in 2018 with a aftermarket locking cap) and the lights stayed on even after i cleared the codes. So the sold me a $44 new OE cap and said it was fixed, but needed a part replaced at the charcoal tank. A small switch with a hose and 2 wires going to it at a cost of around $500. I ordered the part $18 on Amazon ( doorman part) and took 10 minutes to change it myself. They said it was fixed with the new cap, but probably needed the other switch installed……shame on you guys. Never again will I bring anything there. By the way they charged me $268 for the gas cap and to run diagnostics. I wouldn’t be upset if the cap would have worked but I knew it would not after trying 3 total caps…….
