I am a mechanic by trade but too busy to fix my own truck at the moment ,so I sent it to dodge.

I’ve done this exact repair, including in a parking lot in florida, in a 100° with basic hand tools and a cruddy little jack in less than an hour n half …. but this dealer they want in a fully equipped shop, two and a half hours and five hundred dollars worth of labor with me Supplying the part AND diagnosing correctly what was wrong with it.When I gave it to them.

The truck was dropped off by appointment. The day before the appointment so that it was already there, They didn’t wait on me .. I was told it would take two and a half hours and it would be done on tuesday.

We are now going into Thursday, and it hasn’t been touched other than to look at it. And tell me exactly what I said was wrong with it is what’s wrong with it.

Oh and dodge doesn’t even make their own part anymore, so by the way, Mr.Mcgrath you have to go searching for your own parts and have this fuel line fabricated somewhere, because we can’t provide it to you…. so now in an attempt to try to make things easier on myself, Although definitely not cheaper by having Dodge do it, I now have to run around for them So that they can finish my truck. What should have already been done… And likely it won’t be done until monday because if it took them four days to take it apart with an appointment.I would imagine it’s going to take them at least three days, to put it back together… and this is the third time i’ve had a vehicle up there that went in by appointment, and they didn’t even start working on it for 3 or four days.

Use any other dodge dealer, but don’t use this one and their service manager garrett. He doesn’t give a damn either way . And the people that are supposed to be your service advisors, I have no idea about this trade about cars or about what they are doing other than just scheduling your work.So don’t even bother trying to talk to them about anything specific… My service advisor ,she tried to help me the best She could, and for that and only that I give this dealer credit for hiring her… but the rest of this complete poop show

Absolute mistake using this dealership for any of your repair needs as someone who’s been turning wrenches for 40 years. I truly believe that they are ill equipped to handle what you need to have done .
