My husband and I visited looking for a Telluride. We were looking for a specific trim, color and package and they had it. After speaking with a sales person on the phone, we drove 90 minutes to the dealership. After we got there and the price of the vehicle was thousands over what was listed online and there was no room for negotiating, we left. We returned home and used our Sam’s Club membership to search for a vehicle. Same car at the dealership popped up at a lower price. My husband texted with them, got a final agreed on price and let them know we were coming. 90 minute drive back, we get there and the sales person and sales manager insist they cannot honor the price we agreed on in writing because it didn’t include additional fees. After several back and forths, we ended up purchasing the vehicle at the price we were given. We held firm that we accepted the offer at the price that was given by their authorized agent. This was a 12 hour ordeal for us. During this time, the sales person was abrasive and the sales manager blatantly told us the online platform is really a bait and switch and most people end up buying a car they don’t even come in for. It was a terrible experience.
I do love my Telluride though. Can’t recommend that vehicle enough!
