We just left this dealership approximately 1 – 1 1/2 ago. I would give this dealership 1 star but the few people we encountered were pleasant. We came to see the 2012 Buick LaCrosse (pictured red, but as described in the details was actually blue) that was posted on CarGurus. I sent an email and the gentlemen responded back shortly that the they had the vehicle. We had been car shopping for a couple of hours and decided to come to the dealership. I emailed the gentleman (Joseph M) and informed him we were on the way with our ETA of about 15 minutes. He responded ok see you soon. Upon our arrival I emailed him to let him know we were there. A gentleman saw us walking around and asked was someone helping us and we told him who we had been communicating with, he told us he would let him know we were here. Long story short we couldn’t find the car on the lot, the salesman Joseph left on the cart and came back and stated he couldn’t find the car either but maybe it was in the service bay. Shortly thereafter he brought the car around and as we were walking around the car I was very disappointed. This car looked like it had been driven down a dirt road with branches hanging on both sides scratching the car. There were multiple scratches on the hood, all the doors, back and trunk, it was ridiculous how bad the cosmetic condition of this car was. On the right, front passenger door it had clearly been hit/scraped (several inches long and wide)with another door or something. I couldn’t believe he actually brought this car to us. When I asked what happened because it was so badly scratched up all around he stated, It’s nine years old. I pointed to our Expedition and said this is a 2011 and it’s not scratched up all the way around. He said well you take care of your cars. So you would bring me a car that clearly someone hasn’t taken care (cosmetically) of to buy from this dealership. I have always bought used/ preowned cars and I have never seen or bought a car from a dealership that looked this bad. This car was scratched up so bad that it would need a very good buffing or a paint job all over. It’s nine years old, the response that was given when asked why the car was so badly scratched up. This is the statement that made me leave. The fact that you didn’t care enough to even mention the condition or do something about it before showing it is disappointing. This is one car you should have said was not ready, maybe you thought you had a desperate couple . Poor business ethic showed today.
