I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban from Randy Marion Cadillac of Jacksonville less than two months ago. Since purchasing the vehicle, I’ve already had to replace the battery after it failed unexpectedly. Shortly after that, the A/C stopped cooling properly. I initially believed it was simply low on refrigerant, but after having it professionally diagnosed, the shop confirmed a leaking rear evaporator core using UV dye. The repair estimate is approximately $1,700.
While I understand this is a used vehicle, I did not expect to face major repairs within weeks of purchase. Having to replace the battery and now a significant A/C component so soon after buying the vehicle has been very disappointing. I had hoped for a more reliable vehicle and a better ownership experience from a dealership with Randy Marion’s reputation. I hope the dealership will consider assisting customers when major issues arise so soon after a sale.
