Very frustrated. Approximately a month ago we purchased an $85,000 truck and at the time everything went smooth. We were promised the gentleman that traded in the truck would be bringing by another key. When that happens, they would call us. We are a month into the process and still no key. Was told we could purchase a second key for approximately $350.00, really, we must pay another $350.00 after we paid $85,000 for a truck?
Then the heated seats when out in the back seat. Dropped it off at Randy Marion Ford at the appointed time and was told they had no clue when we would get back the truck because they must check all the wiring out to diagnose what is causing the issue. I was free to come pick up the truck and bring back at another time if we needed it. Fortunately, we need the truck everyday cause my husband uses it for work, so no good time to keep the truck for an extended period. The truck has 30,000 miles, so the warranty will be up soon if we pick it back up then warranty will be void. I understand it is a process to diagnose an issue, but the extra key is an issue for us. I shouldn’t have to pay another $350.00 when I was promised in the beginning another key.
