Went and looked at a Range Rover autobiography, noticed it had a roaring noise in the rear end and with only 7 miles til empty, there was not much of a test drive to be had. Told the sales person to gas it up and I would come back for a more in depth test drive in which she agreed. Upon calling and speaking with the sales lady the next day, I asked if I could take it to Land Rover to be inspected before purchasing in which I was told it would have to be ran by the sales manager for approval and she would get back in touch. Sales manager called and stated that car was NOT to leave his lot and absolutely could NOT be taken to Land Rover to be checked by an ASE certified Land Rover technician.
At that point, I came to the conclusion that there was something fishy going on with the vehicle and so I decided not to purchase. 5 stars for the sales lady only. She was great and if she worked at another dealership, I would purchase from her time and time again. Not happy with the sales manager of preowned vehicles at this location, from the sounds of it, his last name is Marion so he must have just been given a job as he seems very under qualified. I’m sure he still writes home to mom about it.
In conclusion, after the treatment I received from Randy Marion, I will no longer pour any of my money into any of their dealerships.
