On Monday afternoon James, from customer Relations, called to set up an appointment for us to see & test drive a vehicle we asked about. We offered to come in then, (about 5:30) but he said they close at 7:00 & it would be better to come prior to 5:30. Based on that, since we both work in Mecklenburg county, we made the appointment for the following Saturday morning. We arrived at the dealership on Saturday morning for our appointment & learned they did not really know we were coming & did not have the vehicle we were there to drive. They had to have someone go get it. By the time we finally had a chance to drive the vehicle, we had spent 2 hours there! The staff there apologized about the delays & lack of coordination. They did their best to give us a good offer. We had another appointment with another dealer – & when we arrived, the other dealer was ready & prepared & we drove the vehicle within 10 minutes! This is what we expected from Randy Marion dealer – but unfortunately it didn’t happen that way. The local guys there at the Ford dealership get an “A” for effort in trying to make up for our bad experience. The vehicle at the other dealer was better for us & at a better price for us than what Randy Marion dealer could do.
