I brought my vehicle in for a rattling and bumping sound coming from underneath the drivers side wheel. I was informed that the vehicle needed a motor mount. The service dept, gave me a receipt for installation of a mount and a strut. I left the dealership, drove approximately one mile and continued to hear the bumping sound. I returned to the dealership and informed the service agent. He spoke with the shop manager about the sound and asked him to test drive the vehicle. Upon returning, the shop manager stated that he could not hear the sound. SO, the service agent asked that I drive him around to listen for the sound. After driving approximately one mile, he heard the sound too. Upon returning to the shop he drove the vehicle back to where I presumed was the maintenance area. He returned and informed me that the stabilizer arm (I Think) needed to be replaced. Now, I am hearing a bumping noise coming from underneath the vehicle, that I had not heard before the service. Since purchasing my 2011 Buick Enclave, I have brought my vehicle to Randy Marion because I believe in the integrity the dealership proclaims.
I will acknowledge that the repair performed was warranted and completed, which I do not complain about. But the work that also needed to be done was not done and the shop manager could not detect the problem and now I will have to schedule another appointment. I appreciate the work performed by the dealership, that`s why I continue to return for service- maintenance but this is the second time that I have brought my vehicle in for repair for one thing and it was not accomplished. Thank you for hearing me out and for the work that yours company does.
